How to retrofit your disc brakes
The disc brakes on your Coboc bike may have been inadequately mounted. As a result, the brake could possibly fail during the ride and put you in serious danger.
Please bring the bike immediately to your dealer so that they can check and correct it as soon as possible. This check is of course free of charge for you. If you don’t have a dealer nearby, please contact us directly via email at contact@coboc.biz or via the contact form below.

For those who want more details:
On each model are front and rear disc brakes installed. These are fixed with 6 screws and a mounting torque is specified for assembly. In addition, these screws must be mounted with threadlocker.
All 12 bolts that secure the disc brakes to the hubs may not have been properly mounted. In addition, 6 of these 12 bolts used to mount one of the two brake discs may not have had threadlocker applied. Therefore, the brake disc could come loose while riding and cause the brake to fail.
Your dealer will check if the corresponding bolts are provided with threadlocker, apply it if this is not the case, and check the mounting torque.
Your safety is our highest concern. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.
